The Thunder Science Company Tower is the Thunder Science Company facility where Changed takes place. The company is known for building "fortress towers", nuclear refuges, and a seed warehouse in Antarctica, implying that they specialize in sturdy facilities designed to survive long periods without outside support. The tower where Changed takes place is built over a hidden bunker.
In the Special Edition, it is revealed that the facility actually contains three towers: two rectangular "auxiliary" towers, and a main, triangular tower sitting between them, so that the three towers together form the rough shape of a "W". At least one of these auxiliary towers has enormous green and black crystals growing from it, presumably from the dark latex creatures.
