Squid Pup

The Squid Pups are a group of young light latex squid-dog hybrids. This group of squid dogs obstruct Colin as he encounters them within the aquatic area of the game's Special Edition, resulting in a defensive battle-like sequence that must be completed to progress.

Appearance

The Squid Pups are all Squid Dogs, hybrids of dogs and squids, like the Squid Dog boss. They have white eyes, tentacles, four arms, and white fur.

Behavior

Just like most other creatures in the building, the Squid Pups will try to assimilate or transfur the human. He can be transfurred by being caught in their tentacles, falling into the deeper water, or meet him vertically during the defensive battle. After the Squid Dog boss has been beaten, they appear in small pools of water, and have the ability to swim at a speed somewhat faster than the sharks, and can do a sizable boost forward, most likely with their tentacles as seen in the aquatic life center. The best way to avoid them is to touch the water in the opposite side of the walkable path.

In the Special Edition, a Squid Pup in a small boat will be pulled away before Colin can interact with them. In the same boss battle, a Squid Pup will be hiding in a box of shorts, similar to how a cat will hide under a pile of clothes. You can also make a Squig Dog crash into a shark. If this happens, the Squid Dog and Shark will have a playful fight with each other, much to the dismay or excitement of the others in the room.
