Raccoons
The Raccoons are vareigated-latex raccoons that playfully attack Colin in one of the disinfection rooms in the game's Special Edition.
Appearance
The raccoons appear as simple latex raccoons with permanently shocked eyes. They are mostly grey, with a white face and belly. They have darker grey markings, such as a bandit mask on their face, boot markings on their feet, and stripes on their tail.
After transfurring Colin, they appear as a faceless, anthropomorphic raccoon with the same markings, except instead of his entire hands being dark grey, only the fingers are dark grey. He has black paw pads, and his body is completely smooth except for a few tufts of fur on his head. If transfurred by both raccoons, his tail will grow a mouth with a pink tongue.
Personality
Like the light-latex pups, Colin encounters these critters in one of the decontamination rooms, both burst out of two ventilation ducts to absorb him. The Raccoons randomly move horizontally or vertically as they randomly and playfully roll around the room. This makes them look tough, as it's impossible to trap the two in the traffic cones. Best way to survive them is probably to create a safe haven for Colin around the switch, and then a path to the exit. As they're unpredictable beasts, they must be kept a distance from the exit in order to bypass them.
Unlike the other eyeless transfurs, Colin seems to retain his own mind for at least the moment, as in the Post-Transfur Screens, he is shown grabbing at his featureless face in horror while the other shows him being smothered by his over-affectionate tail. While he can still move, both still leave him as an alien-like creature incapable of speaking, though likely still able to see, oddly enough.
While Colin's proximity to them can influence their movements to a degree, their AI pathways are seemingly random and chaotic, requiring far greater care than with the light-latex pups from prior. Their method of transfurring Colin is to fuse with his benign latex pants, with the benign raccoon pants then activating. This is likely why the final transfur is faceless. If both of them reach Colin, after the first one transfurs the human, the second one joins in, resulting in the tail becoming larger and gaining a mouth and tongue.
Both have made their home in one of the decontamination rooms, filling it full of garbage bags. Even though their movements are confusing to watch, they move so fast, that unless Colin uses the traffic cones against them to create a path, he will never leave that room as a human being.
Trivia
- Unlike every other transfur, two fusing together to transfur Colin doesn't result in an extra fluffy latex beast or his gender shifting. Instead, Colin's tail becomes larger and sentient, grows a mouth and tongue, and begins licking Colin's face.
